A thick layer of 18K gold is pressure-bonded to a brass core, far more than gold-plated pieces, which only have a thin coating that wears off. That's why it doesn't peel, doesn't tarnish, and lasts for years.
Can I get it wet?
It depends on the piece. Our solid gold-filled styles (like our chains and most rings) handle water just fine, shower, sweat, everyday life. But pieces with pearls, or delicate stone settings, should be kept dry. Check the product page for each piece, we tell you exactly how to care for it.
